ENT medical college at Vizag soon

GUNTUR: A new medical college specialising in Ear, Nose and Throat would be set up at Visakhapatnam very soon, Health Minister Galla Aruna announced at the Golden Jubilee A.P. State Conference of Indian Medical Association (IMA) here on Saturday.

Formally inaugurating the conference in the evening, Ms. Aruna along with Minster for Transport Kanna Lakshmi Narayana honoured six eminent doctors from Guntur and other places in the State. The Health Minister took pride in the current Government’s decision to increase the health budget from Rs.1,600 crore in 2002-03 to Rs.3,369 crore in 2008-09.
