GUNTUR: The former Pattabhipuram Sub-Inspector B. Adinarayana, who has been transferred and kept in Vacancy Reserve slot, has been summoned by the First Class Judicial Magistrate of Prohibition and Excise Ch.V.N. Srinivasa Rao, in a case filed by a lawyer. A lawyer J. Muralidhar, who was talking to some of his known people at Cobaltpet, near Pattabhipuram police station, was allegedly mishandled by the SI last month. The lawyer filed a complaint with the police and a case was filed in the magistrate’s court. The court on Wednesday found it prima-facie admittable and summoned the accused SI to the court on Nov. 11 when the next hearing will take place.
