Corrections and Clarifications

In the weather report (October 29, 2008), the data for Kerala appeared along with the data for Karnataka. The sub-heading “Kerala” was missing in the chart. It was an error.

The last paragraph of a report “Thousands take part in human chain despite rain” (Tamil Nadu, October 25, 2008, page 1) was “… DMK Rajya Sabha members Kanimozhi, Dayanidhi Maran and actor Radhika of the All-India Samathuva Makkal Katchi participated ….” It should have been “DMK MPs”.

The second paragraph of a report “Malegaon blast; three remanded to custody” (October 25, 2008) was “The accused have been identified as Pragnya Singh Chandrapal Singh, 38, Shiv Narayan Gopal Singh Kalsanghra, 36, and Shyam Bhawarlal Sahu, 42 ….” It should have been Pragnya Singh Chandrapal Singh Thakur.
