Eyesight restored

The eyesight of K. Anjaneyulu of Chilukuru village under Madhira mandal of Khammam district was restored, thanks to the Swetcha Gora Eye Bank.

In a statement, the eye bank’s executive director G. Samaram said 25-year-old Chintaluru Durga Devi’s eyes, donated to the eye bank after her demise on October 25, were implanted through cornea grafting by eye specialist M.N. Raju.
