Local Bodies Day

KRISHNAGIRI: Local Bodies Day will be observed in all the panchayat and local administration offices in Krishnagiri district in a grand manner, a release from Collector V.K. Shanmugam said.

Mr. Shanmugam asked the local body administration to conduct seminars, awareness rallies about the government schemes and quiz competitions for schoolchildren. He also requested the local bodies to get their buildings white washed and painted with the help of NSS volunteers and NGOs, the release added.
