Food park in Chittoor

NEW DELHI: The Centre will establish a mega food park in Chittoor district with an investment of Rs. 114 crore. Investments to the tune of Rs. 218 crore by entrepreneurs were expected in the processing units. According to Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries Subodh Kant Sahay the units to be set up would have an annual turnover of Rs. 540 crore and provide direct/indirect jobs to over 45,000 people. – Special Correspondent
