Sankalp Diwas

KOLAR: Deputy Commissioner H.R. Srinivas has called upon students to strive to build a strong nation shedding the caste and religious mindset. He was speaking at Rashtriya Sankalp Diwas programme held at Government PU College premises here on Friday. The death anniversary of the former Prime Minister the late Indira Gandhi is being observed as Rashtriya Sankalp Diwas. Mr. Srinivas expressed concern over growing terrorist activities. Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer G.V. Ranga Rao and Superintendent of Police K.P. Puttaswamy participated. Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner administered oath to the students at Gandhi Park.
