Titan Eye + outlet opens in Guntur

GUNTUR: Buying spectacles will be a pleasant and pleasurable experience for Gunturians from now on with the arrival of Tata Group’s Titan Eye + branded retailing outlet at Lakshmipuram, Titan Industries Integrated Retail Services Vice-President Govindaraj said on Friday.
A swanky showroom, the six of the company in Andhra Pradesh after Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam and 40th in the country, was formally opened by the company Vice-President in the presence of franchisee Sri Lakshmi and Pramod. They had been our privileged business partners for the past five years through their Tanishq outlet, said Mr. Govindraj expressing hope that they would be able to serve people qualitatively.
At a press conference soon after the formal ceremony, Mr. Govindraj said that Titan Eye + arm of the Titan Industries was less than one-year-old and it was expecting to do a business of Rs.50 crore during the current fiscal.
Detailing the specialities in buying from Titan Eye +, he said that they had tied up with Sankar Nethralaya of Chennai to train Optometrists, who are employed at the outlets to test the customers on the latest and sophisticated equipment for error-free determination of correction needed.
In addition to these optometry clinics the unique experience would be choosing frames the customers like without depending on others’ views, said Mr. Pramod.
