Children’s panel to be formed

PUDUCHERRY: The territorial administration will enforce the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act, 2005 and establish a children’s commission this month, Welfare Minister M. Kandasamy said on Saturday.

Shortly after inaugurating a two-day training programme on the art of counselling for government school teachers, organised by the Puducherry Women’s Commission, he said the government had obtained approval from the Centre for implementing the Act and setting up the commission.
