COIMBATORE: A two-day training programme in ‘Fruits and Vegetable Preservation’ will be held at the post harvest technology centre of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University on November 4 and 5. Training will be given on the processing of squash, jam, and ready to serve beverage, pickle, and tomato ketchup. Those interested can pay a fee of Rs.1,000 in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of the Dean (Engineering), payable at Coimbatore. It should be sent to the Professor and Head, Post Harvest Technology Centre, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore - 641 003. Participants can register their names on or before November 3.
