Salur civic chief quits

VIZIANAGARAM: Three days ahead of facing the no-confidence motion that was moved by her own party councillors last month, Salur Municipal Chairperson Mugada Gangamma of the Congress on Saturday submitted her resignation to the four-member committee headed by DCC vice-president Rongali Pothanna.

The committee was appointed to find an amicable solution. Collector G. Ram Narayana Reddy fixed November 4 for tabling the motion.
