Ensure that main trains stop at Vizag station, Jena urged

Visakhapatnam : Rajya Sabha member and former Union Minister, T. Subbarami Reddy, who met the Chairman of Railway Board, K.C. Jena, at the railway station here on Saturday, urged him to ensure that important trains, which included super fast express trains and which have been bypassing Visakhapatnam station, were brought to new platforms 7 and 8.

It may be mentioned here that because of lack of adequate number of platforms, some trains have been bypassing Visakhapatnam station.

The work on the platforms numbers 7 and 8 are nearing completion.
