MYSORE: Medium-pacer A.S. Vinay Kumar’s eight for 36 helped Lucky Boys Cricket Club (Nanjangud) register a five-wicket win over Vijay Cricketers in the Sri Gopalaswami Memorial cricket tournament at the Southern Railway Workshop grounds here on Saturday.

The scores: Vijay Cricketers 80 in 21.2 overs (A.S. Vinay Kumar eight for 36) lost to Lucky Boys CC 83 for five in 15.4 overs.

Jaihind CC 297 for eight in 36 overs decl. (inclusive of 40 penalty runs for four overs short) (Gangadhar 81, R. Karthik 67, Basavaraj four for 37) bt Mysore Underwriters CC 102 in 27.5 overs.
