ADILABAD: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday demanded inquiry by the CBI into the Bhainsa communal disturbances to establish the reasons for the violence. The party also demanded a re post mortem on the dead bodies to two of the three persons killed during the communal violence of October 10. At a press conference BJP spokesman N. Ramchander Rao who had headed a fact finding team and district president Gone Shamsunder Rao among others accused the police of foisting false cases on BJP workers and sympathisers. The re postmortem was necessary to establish the fact that the persons had died due to bullet injuries. The establishment of the cause of death of the two persons will only prove the innocence of those who have been booked for their murder. “It a well known fact that Home Minister Jana Reddy had gone on record that the dead bodies of the deceased had bullet injuries,” Mr. Ramchander Rao said. Continuing with the accusation of police being one sided in their investigation and victimisation of innocent, the BJP spokesman said no inquiry was done into firing on the house of Ramdas, a resident of Bhainsa. The police have recovered the bullet from the door of the house yet remained silent about who fired it, he pointed out. Mr. Ramchander Rao also warned the government of activities of SIMI and other organisations being on the rise in Bhainsa. He also accused the MIM of instigating disturbances in places like Bhainsa and Karimnagar in order to gain strength there.
