Kozhikode: The Special Court cancelled the bail of five accused in the Marad case here on Saturday for violating the bail conditions set by the Kerala High Court. Special Judge Babu Mathew P. Joseph cancelled the bail of Manaf, accused no. 6; Shoukath Ali, no. 44; Abdul Jabbar, no. 66; Mohammed Nafi, no. 105; and Kamarudeen, no. 109. The court found that they had gravely violated the bail conditions and one of them had moved around without any of the three sureties who had executed the bond. The High Court had released on bail these under-trial prisoners in the case of massacre of nine fishermen at Marad.
