NFCL gesture

Kakinada: Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited has, under the aegis of Nagarjuna Foundation, donated Rs. 2 lakhs for the 29th A.P. State Inter-District Masters Athletic Championship - 08 to be held at the District Sports Authority grounds here in January, 2009.

NFCL senior general manager Ramashray Singh presented a cheque to District Collector Gopalakrishna Dwivedi on Sunday.

About 1,000 athletes representing 23 districts apart from 200 national and international athletes would be participating in the event, according to Govinda Raju, Chairman of the Masters Athletic Association.
