Nandamuri family fully supports Naidu, says Harikrishna

Staff Reporter

‘Actor Jr. NTR may attend garjana if shooting schedule permits him’

Harikrishna attacks Congress for corruption, misuse of power

Yuva Garjana will break all earlier records, the TDP Rajya Sabha member says

VIJAYAWADA: Allaying fears about division in the Nandamuri family, Rajya Sabha member and TDP leader Nandamuri Harikrishna on Sunday asserted that all their family members were totally in favour of the leadership of TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu as well as for his (Mr. Naidu’s) candidature for the chief minister once again in the coming elections.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr. Harikrishna said that even Jr. NTR expressed his desire and willingness to give his overall support for ensuring the success of the TDP in the next elections.

“During our meetings with the party president, he pledged his support to Mr. Chandrababu Naidu. Most probably he will attend the Yuva Garjana if his film schedule permits him,” the TDP leader said.

Mr. Harikrishna said that there was nothing wrong with the fans’ associations of Balakrishna putting up hoardings and banners without the names and pictures of the party president or any other leaders except that of the actor.

Fitting platform

He pointed out that even his names were not being mentioned in the fans’ association banners and it would not mean that there would be a line of difference there.

In his characteristic style, Mr. Harikrishna attacked the Congress saying that its leadership was steeped in corruption and blatant misuse of power in the past four-and-a-half years of its rule in the State.

He asserted that the Yuva Garjana would be used as a fitting platform to give a clarion call to the people of the State to chase the Congress out of the State.

Mr. Harikrishna reiterated the Nandamuri family’s support to Mr. Naidu and said they would all work hard for his reinstatement as the chief minister once again.

The NTR’s son asserted that every member of their family like every youth in the State would respond to the call of the Yuva Garjana (roar of youth) to root out the “corrupt” Congress Government.

Mr. Harikrishna expressed thanks for the enthusiasm being shown from almost all parts of the region, saying that all of them were sending assurances of their full participation in the Yuva Garjana to make it a resounding success that would even break the earlier records made by Simha Garjana and Rythu Garjana under the leadership of NTR.
