BHAINSA (ADILABAD DT.): The round of applause that greeted Samajwadi Party MP Jayaprada when she spoke in Telugu while addressing local people only indicated her popularity . Her fluency in speech and the handling of the serious issue went down well with the local people who had gathered to have a look at the film actor and politician at Bhainsa’s guest house when she came visiting the place that had seen communal disturbances last month. “Nenu Telugu Bidda, Teluginti aadapaduchuni”, she reminded people of her origins. “Sukhamlo ikkada rakunna, dukham panchukuntaniki ikkadiki vacchanu”, she added, pointing out towards the unsavoury communal strife. Voicing concern against violence against select communities, she said Hindus and Muslims were like the two eyes. She recalled her electoral win from Rampur constituency in Uttar Pradesh for which all communities had contributed equally. “Rampurlo nannu Muslim bhailu votesi gelipincharu. Ee runamu yeepudu teercha lenu”, she said. She also broached the backwardness in Telangana.
