Action sought against medical colleges

PUDUCHERRY: Member of Legislative Assembly S.P. Sivakumar urged Chief Minister V. Vaithilingam and Health Minister E. Valsaraj to take immediate action against medical colleges collecting excess fees from students. According to a release, the MLA said medical colleges were collecting excess fees from students admitted through the Centralised Admission Committee than the amount stipulated by the government.
