Web conferencing

Bangalore: The Bangalore Telecom District of the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) on Monday introduced web conferencing facility for all its broadband subscribers. The service, launched by Shankar Bidari, Commissioner of Police, Bangalore, is aimed at offering a cost-effective option to video conferencing services. Subendu Ghosh, Principal General Manager, Bangalore Telecom District, said the service can be used by anyone who has a computer, a headset and a web camera. The service is free for all existing and new broadband subscribers in November. — Special Correspondent
