JAIPUR: Orange growers in Jhalawar district have started getting loans for establishing nurseries, plant sales outlets and garden centres under the National Horticulture Mission. Jhalawar has emerged as a major centre of orange production after Nagpur in Maharashtra. According to an official release, farmers are earning Rs.4 lakh to 5 lakh a year selling the fruit as well as plants from nurseries.
