BANGALORE: Shashank Menon of Poorna Prajna Education Centre claimed a double in the Ramesh Padukone memorial inter-school badminton championship which concluded at the Prakash courts here on Tuesday. Menon won the boys’ under-16 title with a 21-17, 21-19 win over G. Sai Praneeth. Later, Menon, partnering Ankit Bhat, annexed the doubles crown. The PPEC pair defeated K. Akshay and Pranav Kuttaiah of Frank Anthony Public School 21-19, 16-21, 21-16. The results (all finals): Boys: Under-16: Shashank Menon (PPEC) bt G.
