Teachers honoured

NAMAKKAL: Teachers’ Day was celebrated in Namakkal at the Government Higher Secondary school on Wednesday.Chief Educational Officer C. Appadurai welcomed the gathering. Collector U. Sagayam presided over the function in which Assembly’s Deputy Speaker V.P. Duraisamy was the chief guest. He also honoured and gave away prizes to the State award winning teachers, headmasters on the occasion. Mr. Duraisamy urged the teachers to inculcate the spirit of secularism in students.
