Karunanidhi condoles death of journalist

CHENNAI: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on Wednesday condoled the death of V. Thirunavukkarasu, veteran journalist based in Singapore.

In a statement, the Chief Minister recalled his association with Mr Thirunavukkarasu who, he said, was the editor of Tamil Murasu, a prominent daily published in the city-state. The journalist was drawn to the policies of E. V. Ramasamy and committed to the Dravidian movement, he added.
