Commits suicide

CHENNAI: An employee of the Integral Coach Factory who got married a couple of days ago allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday.

Police said the victim, Shankar (30) of Indira Nagar in Medavakkam was found hanging from the ceiling in a house at Royapettah. He left a suicide note claiming that he took the extreme step owing to an acute stomach pain.

The body was shifted to the Royapettah Hospital for post-mortem, police added.
