Equal pay sought

Visakhapatnam: A demand for following ‘ equal work-equal pay’ principal for the contract workers in the National Thermal Power Corporation was made by general secretary of the INTUC Mantri Rajasekhara. At a meeting at the office gate, he said contract workers were doing the same work as permanent employees but the wage was different. Organising secretary of the INTUC, N.Ramachandra Rao demanded a comprehensive legislation to help workers in the unorganised sector numbering four crore.
