Move to establish Nilgiri History Museum

Udhagamandalam: The Nilgiri Documentation Centre (NDC) functioning at the Sullivan Memorial near Kotagiri has set in motion a move to set up Nilgiri History Museum and a Reference Library. It is meant for the public and researchers.

In a press note issued here on Thursday Venugopal, Honorary Director of the NDC Dharmalingam requested institutions and individuals in the district to donate whatever Nilgiri related materials that can be spared. Items can include photographs, books, reports, souvenirs, magazines, private papers, artifacts and art works.

The contributions will be duly acknowledged.

If originals cannot be spared, digital or hard copies of the same may be sent.
