Hut dweller murdered in Madhapur

HYDERABAD: A hut dweller, Shivappa, 50, stabbed to death his brother, Kemmu, 40, following argument over a petty matter on Madhapur main road on Thursday evening, police said. Hailing from Gulbarga, the two brothers live with their families on roadside huts. Recently, a group of persons attacked Shivappa at Secunderabad fracturing his hand.
He believed that Kemmu was friendly with the attackers and this created rift between the brothers. The two brothers picked up argument over the matter in the evening. In the fit of anger, Kemmu slapped Shivappa.
The enraged elder brother picked up a knife and inflicted injury on Kemmu’s chest killing him on the spot. Shivappa was taken into custody.
