Staff Reporter

DINDIGUL: Windshields of three corporation buses were damaged when an unidentified mob pelted them with stones on them at Kattakamanpatti near Batlagundu here on Thursday night.

Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Madurai) Limited suspended all early morning services between Periakulam and Madurai on the Theni-Dindigul main road and also local services to several villages in Batlagundu and Periakulam blocks. The buses were operated only after 6 a.m. on Thursday to several villages in these blocks.

This was the second such incident in the district after the attack on the car of Puthiya Thamizhagam leader K. Krishnaswamy.
