Fire at transformer repair centre

SANGAREDDY: Fire broke out at the transformer repairing centre in Narasapur (Medak) on Friday.

According Superintendent Engineer K.M. Nagender, the fire spread to other areas when the staff burnt some oily scrap removed from transformers. However, three fire-engines, including two from the Army were able to quell the fire. The loss was estimated at Rs. 10 lakh.-Staff Reporter
