Novatium launches digital desktop device

CHENNAI: Novatium Solutions, an IT products company which builds an affordable and simple computing platform to provide comprehensive computing solutions, announced the launch of a service, which would change the face of home computing.

Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, K. Rajeshwari, VP (marketing and branding), said the service was offered through an access device ‘Nova Navigator’.

It is a multi digital desktop, providing the user with a complete computing experience for the home and has the capability to replace all the digital equipment. According to Vinod Kumar Gopinath, Chief Technology Officer, the device, priced at Rs. 5,999, could be plugged into any broadband connection. The company hopes to sett 75,000 units in the first year.

With a centralised server, the Navigator offers flexible packages and the customers get optimum bandwidth with an option to increase it if they want more storage space.
