Dattatreya participates in motor cycle rally ‘Telangana possible only under Advani and BJP’ SANGAREDDY: BJP State president Bandaru Dattatreya here in Friday demanded for judicial inquiry on land sold to different private sector companies by the government. He also asked Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy to make policy statement on the special economic zones (SEZs) that are being established against the prescribed norms of the Central government. Speaking to reporters, Mr. Dattatreya said that getting revenues by selling lands was nothing but bankruptcy. Mr. Dattatreya, who came here to participate in the motor cycle rally organised by the district unit to propagate the Vijaya Samkalpa Yatra undertaken by party prime ministerial candidate L.K. Advani, said that a separate Telangana state was possible only for Advani. He also opined that both the Congress and Left parties created problems for the formation of Telangana. Terrorism, economic fallout in the country and infiltration of Bangladeshi Muslims into the country would be on the top of the agenda for the party. “How long these people want to follow the policy of appeasement? Why Afzal Guru was not hanged even after the Supreme Court judgement?” he questioned. Wait and watch The BJP was not in a hurry to make any comments against Praja Rajyam . “There is a political confusion created after Chiranjeevi entered politics. The Telugu Desam Party lost its place in State politics. We have to wait and watch whether Chiranjeevi will occupy that place. Some of his policies like fight against corruption and selling of lands has clarity,” he said.
