Arrests of accused in Bhainsa, Orissa sought

ADILABAD: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Friday demanded arrest of killers of Lakshmananada Saraswati in Orissa and of Butan Singh in Bhainsa of Adilabad district. .

At a press conference Sudhanshu Patnaik, VHP’s zonal organising secretary for Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and Akarapu Keshav Raju, State organising secretary said, that VHP had even provided a list of names of 40 persons and photographic evidence to the police in Bhainsa riots. “Yet, no arrests have been made.” They warned the government of serious repercussions if persecution of Hindus continued in this manner.
