Sehwag named vice-captain

New Delhi: Virender Sehwag has been named the vice-captain of the Indian cricket team for the upcoming One-Day Internationals and Test series against England.

In the one-dayers, Sehwag replaces Yuvraj Singh, who is struggling with his form for sometime now.

“Virender Sehwag will be the vice-captain of the Indian team for the Nagpur Test against Australia, as well as the ODI and Test series against England,” the BCCI Secretary, N. Srinivasan, said in a statement issued on Friday. — PTI
