Minister to inaugurate 104 service today

Chittoor: Medical Education and Health Insurance Minister Galla Arunakumari will inaugurate 104 service at Ambedkar Bhavan here on Sunday, said its district co-ordinator Santhi Durga.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, she said that government has allotted 28 services to the district to provide treatment to people of which eleven services will be arriving on Sunday in the first phase.

Each vehicle will be manned by 3 ANMs, a pharmacist, lab technician and a data entry employee. The government has allotted 119 ANMs to this department.

The vehicles will be stationed at seven places - Chittoor, V. Kota, Madanapalli, Piller, Tirupati, Srikalahasti and Puttur.

The main aim of the services is two prevent child mortalities. District Medical and Health Officer Sreeramulu was also present.
