Campaign against belt shops

VIZIANAGARAM: Lok Satta Party has decided to extend support to Excise and Prohibition officials if they act independently and stringently on closure of belt shops in the district.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, party district president B.A. Babji claimed that the Chief Minister’s order for closure of belt shops was a victory of the party that had been fighting relentlessly on the issue. He said that special committees would be appointed to oversee imposition of the order. Party leaders B. Venu Gopal, L. Siva Rama Rao and others were present. Correspondent
