Bangalore: Shreyas Gopal’s 189 (262b, 29x4) proved to be the highlight as Bangalore City defeated Raichur by an innings and 53 runs in a KSCA inter-zonal under-16 tournament match which concluded here on Friday.
The scores:
Raichur 124 in 40 overs and 163 in 52.1 overs (Moin Nadaf 65, Shaswath Trivedi four for 62) lost to Bangalore City 340 for eight in 90 overs (Shreyas Gopal 189, Rishab 69).
President’s XI 309 for nine decl. in 85.4 overs and 128 for four in 32 overs drew with Mysore 159 in 48.1 overs (N. Parikshith 47, M. Roshan four for 35, R. Prabhakar four for 37).
