Competitions for schoolchildren

Mayor P. Janardhana Rao on Sunday inaugurated the Mayor Cup competitions for schoolchildren in GVMC at the Indira Priyadarshini stadium to mark Children’s Day celebrations in the presence of MLAs – Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao and S. Ranga Raju.

GVMC Additional Commissioner Pola Bhaskar, who presided, said about 3,500 students from 70 schools were participating. Athletics round will be held at the Swarnabharathi Stadium on November 12.
