Village assistants in agitation mode

Kakinada: Hundreds of village assistants laid siege to the Collector’s office here on Monday demanding settlement of their long-pending demands. Their demands include hike in remuneration and filling up of vacant posts.

The agitation was led by Andhra Pradesh Village Assistants’ East Godavari Committee president Papa Rao and others.
