CHENNAI: Eight American educational institutions will make their pitch for Chennai students this week at an education fair organised by the British Institute of Technology and E-commerce.

“We are trying to make all the information available to students at one shot,” says Mohammed Ghani, regional manager of BITE Consultants in Chennai.

“One of the major draws is the all the universities will offer up to 50 per cent scholarships.”

Those who have a first-class degree and have scored the required marks in the GRE or GMAT will be considered for the scholarships.

Students bring along all relevant academic certificates to get a scholarship.

The institutions attending the event are the University of Massachusetts, Boston, Massachusetts; Schiller International University, Florida; Alcorn State University, Mississippi;

Northwestern College, Minnesota; Dixie State College, Utah; Upper Iowa State University, Iowa; South Dakota State University, South Dakota; and The University of Toledo, Ohio.
