KHAMMAM: Union Minister of State for Woman and Child Development Renuka Chowdhury has hogged the limelight again. She is now looked upon as a slimming success. She has gone down by 10 kg and is keen on shedding more weight. What is the secret of her success? “No slimming medicines,” she says. “How do I look now?” she questioned media persons, who waited more than four hours for her press conference.

Battle ready

“She is now battle ready,” said her followers, who made her visit to Khammam a big event by receiving her with a convoy of vehicles at Naikangudem village.

Replying to a query, she admitted that she was invited to contest from different States, including Rajasthan. “You know, I am elected to the All India Jat Mahasabha. I can contest from anywhere. But my choice is Khammam. No need to entertain any doubts about this,” she asserted.
