Vilas, Vinod sparkle for SBT

KOCHI: Vilas N. Kutty’s 76 and medium-pacer Vinod Kumar’s four-wicket haul helped State Bank of Travancore, Thiruvananthapuram, defeat Army Nodal CC (Secunderabad) by 83 runs in a league match of the 58th Maruti Homes Pooja all-India cricket tournament at the Tripunithura Palace Oval on Monday.

The scores: SBT, Thiruvananthapuram 193 in 40.2 overs (Vilas N. Kutty 76, S. Ramakrishnan 49, M. D. Aquib four for 43) bt Army Nodal CC, Secunderabad 110 in 32 overs (Vinod Kumar four for 23). — Principal Correspondent
