Parikshith scalps seven

Parikshith Sainath Reddy took seven wickets for 28 runs to enable Raju CC defeat AB Colony by 114 runs in the HCA schools cricket league on Monday.

The scores: Raju CC 238 for five (Y. Harish 103) bt AB Colony 124 (Parikshith Sainath Reddy seven for 28).

St. Joseph’s wins

St. Joseph’s School beat Gyan Bharathi School 4-2 in the Sachdev Cup inter-school football tournament on Monday.

The results: Good Faith School bt Rock School 3-0; Don Bosco bt Cantonment School 3-0; Abhyasa bt Gautam School 5-0.

Satyam Campus Football Challenge, a national-level inter-college football tournament, is to be held in Hyderabad from November 11 at the Nizam College grounds.

SCR makes merry

South Central Railway beat Sastri soccer club 5-1 in the SAAP-Budweiser premier league football tournament here on Monday.

Srinivas (2), Vijay, Sreedhar and Moazzam were the scorers for the railway team while for Sastri club Prudhvi reduced the margin.
