2 killed as school van overturns
ARMOOR (NIZAMABAD DT.): Two students Thota Swathi (9) and Mohammad Shabas (5) studying Std II and UKG respectively in the Manasa High School at Mamidipally here died and 15 others were injured when their school van carrying them to school overturned on Tuesday morning.
Swathi and Shabas died on the spot while the injured were were admitted to MJ Hospital.
The injured are out of danger. All the victims belonged to Argul and Narayanpet in Jakranpally mandal.
Collector B. Ramanjaneyulu, Revenue Divisional Officer Narsing Rao and others visited the Government Hospital.
