200 cr. for scholarships this year

MAHABUBNAGAR: Minister for Rural Development G. Chinna Reddy has said that the Government earmarked Rs. 200 crore this year for disbursement of scholarships to over 8 lakh students. Participating in the Minority Welfare Day celebrations here on Tuesday, the Minister said that 41,000 students of medical and engineering got reimbursement of fee. He said the government had taken up various programmes for the development of minorities.
