TNERC public hearing on November 21

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission will hold a public hearing at 11 a.m. on November 21 at Kalaivanar Arangam, Chepauk, in the city.

An official press release said that the hearing would be held to elicit views of public about the petition, which was filed by the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board for levy of excess demand charges and excess consumption charges from industrial and commercial consumers.

The persons/organisations who would like to depose before the Commission should register themselves from 9 a.m.

Written suggestions and objections would be received at the registration counter, the release said.
