Panel approves projects

CHENNAI: The first meeting of the high-level empowered committee formed to create permanent infrastructure in the local bodies was convened here on Tuesday.

The meeting approved projects for underground drainage, rainwater harvesting structures, drinking water improvement and construction of eight flyovers in the city with the help of the Chennai Corporation.
