ANANTAPUR: In a move to dissuade representation of non-serious and ineligible problems on Grievances Day, district Collector V. Anil Kumar has asked people not to waste their money and time in frequenting the district headquarters from far-off places by representing problems that were out of the purview of the district administration. On Monday last, his first Grievances Day, the Collector politely refused to accept representations with problems/issues out of the jurisdiction of the district administration. He forwarded the representations that could be resolved by the administration to the officials concerned for immediate action. He has decided to review the position of representations every fortnight and attend to ‘Dial Your Collector’ every 15 days.
