Udhagamandalam: Lawrence School maintained a clean super league slate and emerged champion of the NDCA inter-school under-16 cricket tournament for the Azar Hassan Trophy here recently. M.S. Arvind’s (91 not out & five for 1) all-round show saw Lawrence thrash Hebron by 408 runs in the opener. It followed it up with a two-wicket win over Laidlaw Memorial for the title. Later, Jeff P. George slammed an unbeaten 127 to help Laidlaw Memorial defeat Hebron by 196 runs for the second position. The scores: Super league: Lawrence 439 for seven in 40 overs (Ashwary 40, Rohan 40, Ashutosh 46, L. Arjun 45, Amit Garg 84, M.S. Arvind 91 n.o.) bt Hebron 31 in 21 overs (M.S. Arvind five for 1); Laidlaw Memorial School 143 for nine in 40 overs lost to Lawrence 144 for eight in 24.4 overs (B. Rohan 40); Laidlaw Memorial 276 for seven in 40 overs (Jeff P.
