Honour for nagaswaram exponent

CHENNAI: The ‘Tamil Isai Sangam’ has selected nagaswaram exponent Sembonarkoil S.R.D. Vaidhyanathan for its Isai Peraringnar Award.

He will receive the award at the inaugural ceremony of the 66th ‘Tamil Isai Festival’ scheduled for December 21. The award carries a gold medal, a silver citation and a cash component of Rs.10,000.
